Cellar Days ("we", "us") helps you plan and book a wine day in McLaren Vale. We take your privacy seriously and handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, mobile number and email address, entered when you save an itinerary or request a transfer.
• Your itinerary: the date, group size, preferences (such as wine styles or dietary/lunch choices), venues selected, and booking status you record in the app.
• Basic technical data: standard logs (such as browser type and pages viewed) used to keep the service running and secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

Why we collect it

• To build, save and print your itinerary and show it to you on the day.
• To pass your transfer request — your name, contact details, itinerary and quote — to our transfer partner so they can confirm your booking.
• To help venues honour your tasting or lunch booking where a booking is made through the app.
• To send you service messages about your planned day (for example, a change to a venue's hours).
• To send occasional McLaren Vale news and offers — only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to deliver your day: the cellar doors, restaurants or distilleries you book, and the transfer operator handling your vehicle. Each receives only what they need to fulfil your booking. We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How we store it

Your details are stored with our secure cloud database provider, protected by encryption in transit and access controls. We keep itinerary information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Your choices and rights

• You can use the itinerary planner without providing any personal details — they're only needed when you want to save, print with your name, or book a transfer.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time using the contact details below.
• You can withdraw marketing consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us.
• If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
